After tons and tons of work, our vlog, Toronto Theatre Revue has finally aired on youtube!

This all started beginning of this past fall, when Tara came up with the brilliant idea. After that, her and I were brainstorming and planning.

First weekend of brainstorming!

Once we got a better handle on it, we talked to David about being our tech guy. He was all for it! Our first project was building a teleprompter. At first it was pretty crass, (see directly below) but then, with David’s ingenuity, he came up with our very own DIY teleprompter he made himself! (see 2nd below!)

Once Tara and I had gone out to our plays for the months of October and November, we got together this past weekend to bring everything together for our first show.

Last season at our first show together Little Shop of Horrors in Cookstown!

Tara out to see Evita with our friend Dianne at SMT!

Taking in pre-show pumpkin spiced lattes before Evelyn Strange at Village Playhouse!

Out at South Simcoe Theatre for Fiddler on the Roof!

Last weekend was packed full of filming, editing and finalising our show – almost 20 hours in total!

Our tech man David Peachey taking care of all things technical!

Final night of editing and uploading the first episode

We do have some ways to come in lighting quality, etc. and refining our show for your viewing pleasure! If you would like to help us out with the process of fine tuning our show, please visit our Patreon! https://www.patreon.com/tctblog

Currently we are working on a humble budget and set, but want to improve it for our community theatre lovers!

If you haven’t seen it yet, view Episode 1 here!
